Donna Smith Bellinger, business coach and networking guru, has written an informative little guidebook on how to make good use of your time and presence as you build your personal and business brand.
Based on her considerable experience and success, You Lost Me @ Hello is a quick and witty read that provides some very useful tips as well as wise counsel. Donna’s underlying premise and the motivation behind the book and its title is that “the art of face-to-face engagement is dying”. It is a major obstacle to small business growth.
To that end, Donna’s useful tips cover the critical importance of first impressions and the even more critical importance of following up. Her wise and sometimes humorous counsel includes avoiding greasy fingers and revealing cleavage at business events.
You Lost Me @ Hello is a good refresher for those of us who think we don’t need one and a valuable introduction for those just starting out.
